Notroid

Notroid is a small Metroidvania prototype made for the Pirate Software game jam in January 2024, inspired by game boy games like Metroid 2, Wario Land and the Mega Man game boy games.

Controls

Move - Arrow Keys

Jump - Z

Shoot - X

Known Issues:

Collision detection isn't great and will sometimes get stuck or register landing in the wrong place.

Power-Ups and Health pickups respawn in rooms when they shouldn't

Enemy collisions need work can sometimes get stuck on an enemy.

If you do get irreversibly stuck, I've left in a debug F10 to restart the current room.
